    Every autumn, we look forward to the New York Times Book Review editors’ “100 Notable Books” list of standout fiction, poetry, and nonfiction titles.     WaterBrook novel AN AMERICAN IMMIGRANT by Johanna Rojas Vann, edited by Jamie Lapeyrolerie, received The Christy Award for Best First Novel from the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association (ECPA) at their awards ceremony in Chicago on November 14. The Christy Award exists to celebrate excellence in the art of Christian fiction and to honor the power of faith in story.

    John Green to Publish Nonfiction Title with New PYR Imprint, Crash Course Books

    John Green, the #1 internationally bestselling author, will publish a nonfiction title with Penguin Young Readers’ new imprint Crash Course Books. EVERYTHING IS TUBERCULOSIS: The History and Persistence of Our Deadliest Infection will release March 18, 2025, and will be the first book published by Crash Course Books, a new imprint of Penguin Young Readers inspired by the popular educational YouTube channel founded by Hank and John Green.

    On September 30, 2024, Target Corporation announced its 2024 Books of the Year, and Random House Children’s Books, is proud to publish two of the four featured titles: THE GLASS GIRL by Kathleen Glasgow, the Young Adult Book of the Year, and IMPOSSIBLE CREATURES by Katherine Rundell, the Middle Grade Book of the Year.
