What do Edgar Degas and his famous ballerinas performing Giselle, the most renowned romantic ballet of all times, have in common?
 
1841. Théophile Gautier signs the script of Giselle, a ballet that launches its protagonist, Carlotta Grisi, to success. A turbulent love triangle with unexpected consequences will begin when the diva’s little sister meddles in the relationship.
 
1866. A series of murders—several men connected to the Opera on Rue Le Peletier—surprise the city of Paris, where Théophile is going through an existential crisis: it’s in his hands to be the next victim or, together with Carlotta, find the culprit and do justice.
 
1877. The painter Edgar Degas asks the young ballerina Marie van Goethem to pose for him. This encounter will shed a light on the tragic happenings years before.
