La protagonista de El mar está lleno de medusas no leyó bien las letras chiquitas del contrato de la adultez y ahora se dedica a recoger los restos de un amor que se suponía que iba a durar para siempre, en medio de un confinamiento mundial. Con la firme esperanza de reencontrarse consigo misma, comienza a armar la historia de la década de sus veinte años para conocerse en la versión de sus treinta.
 
Esta es una historia entrañable sobre crecer y todas las cosas que salen mal en el intento: un primer trabajo y una primera historia de amor adulta; una boda y un divorcio; muchos sueños rotos, pero también la fuerza para salir adelante, reinventarse, reírse de sí misma y comenzar de nuevo gracias a los libros y a los abrazos de las amigas.

The protagonist of The Sea Is Full of Jellyfish didn’t read the small print on the contract of adulthood and now spends her time picking up the pieces of a love that was meant to last forever, in the middle of a global lockdown. With the firm hope to rediscover herself, she begins to piece together the story of her twenties in order to find herself in her thirties.
 
This is an endearing story about growing up and all the things that go wrong in the process: a first job and a first adult love story, a wedding and a divorce, many broken dreams, but also the strength to move forward, to reinvent herself, to laugh at herself, and begin again thanks to books and the hugs of her friends.
