PreS-K–The illustrator of this board book has ensured that a diversity of family structures and members of varying abilities are represented, as one kiss is delivered for “I help you pick up all these toys,” and a second kiss when another child eats the last piece of broccoli. Readers witness one joyful household after another closing down the day from tub to table to bed, when the stars come out and 10 kisses are offered to help sleep last the whole night long. Fuzzy textures on every page will have children reaching for comfort. VERDICT An easy book to recommend for the parent shelves, for those seeking to establish toddler routines. While it’s not essential, it is very sweet. –School Library Journal
