She never accepted the doctors’ diagnosis and undertook a physical, emotional, and spiritual fight to save his life.
 
Along the way— to understand what was happening, to see her son as a teacher, and to pick herself up again— she left an indelible record of a mother’s love, and began to write to relieve her anxiety, fears, and grief. “But at the same time, there was a purpose in my writing.
