“My name is Don Tillman. I am thirty-nine years old and an associate professor of Genetics at the University of Melbourne. I am well paid, I eat a balanced and regular diet, and my physical condition is excellent. I do not fully understand the reasons for my failure, and since statistics show that married men are, on average, happier and live longer, I have decided to launch a life program for myself: the Wife Project.
