Bruce Jones is a comic book writer and illustrator who is known as a principal force behind some of the biggest and best issues of the Incredible Hulk. Jones was known for his horror and science fiction, and was a major contributor to both Creepy and Eerie comics. Jones was also known for his work on Solomon Kane and Kull the Conqueror.

Alfredo Alcala (1925–2000) was a comic book artist and winner of the 1977 Inkpot Award. Alcala worked on a number of storied titles: Conan, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, and many more.
