RAÚL ALLÉN’s first picture book, Ocean Wide, Ocean Deep, was lauded by School Library Journal, which said of his work, “Allén’s gorgeous, full-color paintings perfectly re-create the Cape Cod setting and convey the characters’ emotions.”  In addition to his work on picturebooks, Allén has created art for the magazines Rolling Stone, GQ, Business Week, and Maxim.  Raul lives in Madrid, Spain.
