About the Author
BARBARA SCRUPSKI teaches English at a community college near Annapolis, Maryland. She received her M.F.A. at Columbia University, and also studied extensively at the University of Konstanz in Germany, Cambridge University, and the Polish Language Institute in Krakow. This is her first novel.
