Andrew Wilson is a husband, father and proud dyslexic, writing stories to explore important themes such as masculinity while immersing young people in imagined worlds as only books can. Andrew was shortlisted for the Royal Society of Literature V.S. Pritchett Prize 2023.
Niflheim was shortlisted for the Bath Children’s Novel Award 2023, The Letter Review Prize for Unpublished Books 2023, the Yeovil Literary Prize Children’s and YA Novel 2023, longlisted for the Write Mentor Novel Awards 2024, and was a finalist of the Bardsy First Chapter Competition 2023.
As someone who struggled with reading as a teenage boy, Niflheim is the book that Andrew wrote to his younger self.
