Coral Davenport
Coral Davenport is an energy and environmental policy correspondent for the New York Times. Previously, Coral worked as an environmental journalist for Congressional Quarterly, Politico, and National Journal. From 2001 to 2004, Davenport served as a correspondent in Greece, covering the 2004 Olympics and writing travel and restaurant guidebooks for Condé Nast, Time Out, and the DK Eyewitness guidebook series. She is the great-great-great-granddaughter of legendary astronomer, oceanographer, and meteorologist Matthew Fontaine Maury.
