Andrew Humphreys

Andrew Humphreys is a journalist and writer with a particular passion for the Middle East and North Africa. He is the author of Grand Hotels of Egypt and On the Nile, and has written travel books for Lonely Planet, Dorling Kindersley, and National Geographic. He was the editor in chief and cofounder of the Cairo Times, an English-language Egyptian newspaper, in the 1990s.
