Tom Kime

Tom Kime found his love of food as a professional chef at the world-renowned River Café in London. His catering work has included former colleague Jamie Oliver’s Thai-inspired wedding feast, and he has cooked for celebrities such as Mick Jagger, Sam Neill, and Kirsten Dunst at his acclaimed Notting Hill restaurant, Food at the Muse. Kime has traveled extensively in Asia, researching foods, market ingredients, and regional restaurants. He created and produced an eight-part series called Our Man in Vietnam for Taste TV, and has written several award-winning books on Asian cuisine, including Balancing Flavors East and West, which was nominated by the International Association of Culinary Professionals for the Best Chef/Restaurant Award in 2006.
