Melissa Burnham Ph.D.

Melissa Burnham, PhD, is a professor of human development, family studies, and early education at the University of Nevada, Reno, where she also serves as associate dean at the College of Education. Her areas of expertise include sleep development in infants and children, and early childhood education. Dr. Burnham has been published in numerous early-development and scientific journals and is the coauthor of two books: The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Sleep Training for Your Child and Informing Our Practice: Useful Research on Young Children’s Development.
