About the Author
Karin Alvtegen is one of the most successful and critically acclaimed crime writers in the Nordic countries. She made her debut in 1998 with the acclaimed thriller Guilt. Her second novel, Missing, was awarded the most prestigious crime writing award in the Nordic countries, The Glass Key, in 2000 (previous winners include Peter Høeg and Henning Mankell). Betrayal has sold over 200,000 copies in Sweden and was nominated for the Swedish Academy of Crime Writers’ Award. Alvtegen’s works have been translated into more than twenty languages. She lives in Stockholm.
