Giles Gunn

Giles Gunn is a professor of global studies and of English at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He has held several fellowships, including a John Simon Guggenheim Fellowship, the National Endowment for the Humanities Fellowship, and a Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Fellowship. Professor Gunn is the author of seven books, including Ideas to Live For: Toward a Global Ethics and Beyond Solidarity: Pragmatism and Difference in a Globalized World. He’s edited 13 titles, including Early American Writing and Pragmatism and Other Writings by William James.
