Brett Gadsden

Brett Gadsden is a professor of history at Northwestern University and the author of Between North and South. He is a leading expert in twentieth-century Black American political and social history. He has written about race and politics for The Atlantic, Politico, and the Chicago Tribune. He lives with his wife, former US Poet Laureate Natasha Trethewey, in Evanston, Illinois.
