About the Author
Edgar Gomez (he/they) is the author of High-Risk Homosexual, which received an American Book Award, a Stonewall Israel-Fishman Honor Award, and the Lambda Literary Award for Gay Memoir. Born and raised in Florida, he has written for the Los Angeles Times, Poets & Writers, LitHub, New York Magazine, and beyond. His work has been supported by the National Endowment for the Arts, the New York Foundation for the Arts, and the Black Mountain Institute. Gomez lives between New York and Puerto Rico.
