The Cycling Podcast

The Cycling Podcast comprises of three core presenters: Richard Moore, Lionel Birnie and Daniel Friebe. Between them they have written or contributed to over fifteen books, and written features for national press, magazines and attracted numerous award nominations.

The Podcast has attracted a huge loyal following, with a weekly show throughout the year. In addition, Daily editions throughout the Grand Tours have become the go-to destination for news and updates on the three biggest tour competitions.

Richard Moore is a freelance journalist and author. His first book, In Search of Robert Millar, won Best Biography at the 2008 British Sports Book Awards. He is the author of six books, three of which have been long-listed for the William Hill Sports Book of the Year. As a freelance journalist he has contributed to the Guardian, Esquire, the BBC and The Scotsman. He is also a former racing cyclist who represented Scotland at the 1998 Commonwealth Games.

Daniel Friebe is one of Britain’s leading cycling journalists and a veteran of nine Tours de France. Daniel is the Features Editor of Procycling Magazine, widely regarded as the world’s most authoritative English-language cycling magazine. His feature-writing and news reporting on a range of subjects – including the controversial topic of doping – has earned him an enviable reputation, reflected in his frequent appearances on international radio and television as a cycling expert.Daniel also collaborated with Mark Cavendish on his bestselling Boy Racer. He has also written for publications including the Daily Telegraph, The Sunday Telegraph, FourFourTwo, Spin Cricket Monthly, Channel4 Test Match Magazine.
