About the Author

Sarah Mennell is an actress and voice over artist based in Toronto, Canada. The Giller prize winning Bellevue Square was her Canadian audio book debut. She lived in England for ten years where she read numerous audio books, including Tempest-Tost by Robertson Davies, The Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum, and The Girls by Lori Lansens, in addition to countless romance novels for the Royal National Institute for the Blind.  She’s voiced numerous video games and radio dramas.
 
Sarah has performed at theatres across Canada: Soulpepper, YPT, The Stratford Festival, The Globe, Neptune Theatre, The Saide Bronffman Centre, Theatre Aquarius and Prairie Theatre Exchange. In London England, her stage credits include Complicit and Resurrection Blues at The Old Vic and the Tony award winning production of Death of A Salesman in the West End.  She was a member of The Blue Raincoat Theatre Company on the West Coast of Ireland where she toured several productions throughout Ireland and Europe. 
 
Film credits include Munich (Steven Spielberg), How to Lose Friends and Alienate People (Robert B. Weide), Aujourd’hui Ou Jamais (JP Lefebvre).  She has appeared in the television shows Magnesium, Detention Adventure, Coroner, Degrassi, Reign and is a graduate of The National Theatre School of Canada and the Inaugural Stratford Festival Conservatory.
