He is the bestselling author of For the Love of Cheese, the host of the TV show Cheese: A Love Story, and the owner of Cheese Boutique in Toronto, a 4-generation, 55-year-old cheese store that houses 500 kinds of cheeses, along with meats, local produce, pastries, and more. He lives in Toronto with his wife and son.
