KATE PULLINGER grew up in British Columbia. Her novel The Mistress of Nothing won the 2009 Governor General’s Literary Award for Fiction. She is also the author of Landing Gear and Forest Green. In 2021, she won the Marjorie C. Luesebrink Career Achievement Award, and in 2024, she was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature. She is currently a Professor of Creative Writing and Digital Media at Bath Spa University, England.
