YASUKO THANH’s story collection Floating Like the Dead was shortlisted for the Danuta Gleed Award and the Ethel Wilson Fiction Prize and named a Quill & Quire Best Book of the Year. Mysterious Fragrance of the Yellow Mountains, her debut novel, won the Atwood Gibson Writers’ Trust Prize for Fiction, the City of Victoria Butler Book Prize, and was nominated for the Amazon First Novel Award. Thanh’s memoir, Mistakes to Run With, was a national bestseller and a finalist for the Jim Deva Prize for Writing that Provokes in the 2020 BC and Yukon Book Prizes. She lives in Victoria, B.C.
