Tadao Ando

Tadao Ando was born in Osaka, Japan in 1941. He traveled throughout Japan, the United States, and Europe and became a self-educated architect , establishing Tadao Ando Architect & Associates in 1970. He is the recipient of the Pritzker Architecture Prize, the profession’s highest honor, as well as numerous other awards.
