Inside, you’ll find a collection of 140 embroidery designs ready to transfer using a hot iron.
The transfers can be used a few times successfully, and you can tidily keep the used transfers that you’ve cut out in the folder’s pockets inside the book. The book is a folio, really.
In the pocket on one side, you’ll find the transfer book. In the pocket on the other, you’ll find a stitch guide and idea book.
The designs range from simple, contemporary designs, to larger florals, to smaller, compact, stylized designs, to art nouveau styles that can be repeated on corners, and so much more! There’s a lot in the book (140 designs!) and something for everyone. There are even big bugs.
In the accompanying stitch guide, you’ll find information on how to transfer with the iron-ons, as well as a very basic stitch dictionary with diagrams. You’ll also find many images of the various designs worked in very simple stitches to give you an idea of how they can be embroidered. You won’t get step-by-step instructions on how to embroider the designs, but the photos demonstrate how the designs could be stitched using the simplest of stitches in very basic techniques as a springboard for ideas. It’s a fun design resource, especially for those who are held back by the transfer process. Iron-ons can be a life saver, if you want to stitch but just can’t face transferring designs!
